the flute performance artist mr. du cong recorded music for “carmen – passionate love”

du cong loved to play wind instruments when he was in childhood, and then he studied in shanghai conservatory of music because of his excellent grades. he became a young outstanding musical performance player because of the inculcation of the flute player artists mr. lu chunling and mr, zhao songting.

du cong graduated in 1985, joined in shanghai chinese orchestra, and then transferred to shanghai song & dance ensemble, at present he is a solo player of shanghai song & dance ensemble.

because of du cong’s well-knit basic skill and creative musical performance skill, he acquired the outstanding achievement in the performance of flute, xiao, bawu, paixiao, new flute and gourd string, etc. especially in paixiao performance and du cong is renowned as “prince of the paixiao”.
